You start the campaign in AD395. It's about atilla the hun and the fall of the roman empire. In short the arrival of the huns which like the mongols were a nomadic tribes caused many gothic tribes to migrate which arrived in the weaker west roman empire and set up kingdoms there making the roman empire fall.

I had no idea what Atilla was actually about XD I was just told it was like a reskin of Rome 2 but your explanation has explained a lot to me, thanks! I dont think it could have been an expansion for rome 2 as it adds more new features then more people think. Such as:An improved politic system which is so much more detailed then rome 2. Increase the influence of your family members both men and women.
Rome 2 lotr third age overhaul mod its pretty clear everyone wants it, would be pretty cool if someone made it. I would def pay for a third age mod over another CA dlc. This Group is for fans and players of the total conversion mod for Alexander Total War, Lord of the Rings - Total War. LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies, It has a complete Middle Earth map, from Harad to Forodwaith. The LOTR Gondor Units Pack is also a standalone mod for Rome 2. It is not compatible with Rise of Mordor as it's for a different game. If the creator ports it to Attila we may help them make it compatible, but it doesn't count as an official submod.
Marry your women off for diplomatic reasons. Adopt powerful generals/governors to improve your families power. Win non family members loyalty by castrating them or blinding them to prevent civil war.Razing settlements to destroy everything and decrease the regions fertility and recolonize these settlements.A great climate change system where in every about 15 years fertility decreases and provinces getting colder.
You will be having snow 3 turns each year ( 4 year system) in your northern provinces and lots of food problems. These are just a few of the new things added. Definitely get MTW2, and then TATW.

Absolutely brilliant mod, and the MOS submod pack is great too.Empire and Napoleon were fun, sure, but I found the multiplayer quite dull.Shogun is a brilliant game in it's now finished status.Atilla is a good game, the singleplayer is very good, but the multiplayer is not balanced and quite boring.Arena is a fun, fast paced game but really imbalanced. I'd wait for a few more patches before you buy it.Rome 1 is a brilliant game, just like Medieval 2.Never played Medieval 1.Rome 2.
Such an underrated game. It started off terrible, with barely any balancing, a shit tonne of bugs and son on. But now, both singleplayer and multiplayer are some of the best I've ever played. Multiplayer is defintely my favourite. It's actually very fun, yet people hate it for it's early stages.
